The Greengate Trust’s ‘We’re In It Together’ Project

Uncategorized

The Greengate Trust are currently carrying out their incredible ‘We’re in it Together’ project with the Strengthening Faith Institutions micro-grant. Through this project the trust are offering many services including: help-line and advice services (such as a help-line for the vulnerable, and a counselling and bereavement service); delivery services (such as hot-meal deliveries to the elderly, vulnerable and homeless people, and medication delivery services); a mobile ‘shop’ which they bring to vulnerable persons within the community to allow them to ‘shop’ for essential items.

This project has been extremely successful so far, with tens of people in the local community being reached with this wonderful service. Not only have the Greengate Trust provided their local communities with much-needed resources, but they have also reminded vulnerable people that they are not alone during these difficult, and often isolating, times.
