The Madina Institute’s ‘No One Left Behind’ Project

Team Planet Mercy carried out its amazing No One Left Behind project recently with the Strengthening Faith Institutions micro-grant. In this project, Team Planet Mercy delivered weekly Ramadhan Iftar packs for families across Ashton, Oldham, Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. These packs included sweet cones, dates, and fresh meat. Alongside its Ramadhan Iftar packs, Team Planet Mercy delivered emergency parcels to families affected by COVID-19. They also worked under the umbrella of Oldham Mosques Council to provide warm meals to NHS staff at the Royal Oldham Hospital. This incredible project has reached almost 1000 families in recent weeks, offering support and care both to the Muslim community during Ramadhan and Eid, and to the wider community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
