Safeguarding Adults With Care and Support Needs, Awareness Training

Who should attend: Trustees, management committee members, teachers, clergy, volunteers and any one else working with adults at risk (vulnerable adults) aged 18 or over.
Course outline:
- Importance of safeguarding – in British law and in the Sacred Texts
- Who, what, where and how of abuse and neglect
- How to prevent abuse or how to respond if abuse is suspected
- Duties of the Designated Safeguarding Officer and trustees/Management Committee
- Further learning
